Turbos are wonderful aren’t they.

2+ years after selling my second WRX I’d almost forgotten just how silly easy it is to add power to a turbocharged car

TFW I hit full throttle in the BRZ:

Spiffy. I need to tune my car but being a new engine (for North America anyway) and a VW I’m a bit hesitant. I’m leaning toward a Neuspeed Power Module, which is a little box that intercepts a few sensor signals to spoof the ECU into allowing more boost and fuel and, best of all, is removable and untraceable if the car needs to go to the dealer, unlike a tune.
Also, how long before you replace those wheels? I give you another month or so. :)

That little bike looks like a lot of fun.

The BRZ analogy holds!
Seriously, it’s one of the few cars I’ve driven that I have to stop myself from just accelerating to 100 and beyond. It just loves those top few thousand RPMs

I just wanted the bike.

I tried to find it for you. All I can say is it happened in Russia. Godspeed.

It’s probably a good thing that I can’t make things, because I’d have loads of useless things like this sitting around.

I fail to see how that would be a problem.

Because I’d have more stuff sitting around than I would people I know. I already don’t talk to people much and it’d be worse if I started doing stuff like that.

Found you one, maybe.

I found that one as well! 230 pound weight limit. I’m not that heavy, but that means that I could jump it. That would probably end quite badly.

That’s basically how this tune works, it’s a box that plugs in to 2 sensors. Literally 2 minutes to install.
I'm planning to wait til next summer for wheels buuuuut if I find a good deal you know I won't turn it down haha

Ah, right on. I figured it was a CPU reflash, a la APR and others for VW. Guess you gotta keep that CPO warranty intact too eh, haha.
Does this box support different levels of tune that you can switch with a computer or even with some buttons in the car and some coding? That Neuspeed box I mention can be adjusted for different boost increases and octane ratings with a USB cable but I know things like the JB(4?) tuner available for Bimmers can be adjusted through things like the cruise control controls.

The full JB4 tuner can be adjusted but this stage 1 box is much simpler... apparently there might be a way to up the boost by another 1.5 PSI or so but I plan to just leave it as-is.
